I recently read Julia Serano’s “Whipping Girl” and have been thinking a lot about femininity, masculinity, power, privilege, etc. etc., and I wrote another piece. Because it’s several pages long, it’s linked here on livejournal, which hosts the larger images best.

Girly

Please note, the pages read as if they are an open book, i.e., read the left half of the page down, then the right half. Some are only half pages; that’s just the editing.
Heart.

I draw and do some stuff with my life. A big part of the time between awake and asleep goes towards organizing and social justice work. I argue about it a lot with people all the time, and don’t feel like making this space about that. So, here, I’m just going to say, hey, I have some radical politics. I don’t think jail should exist. I think white folks are still ruling stuff and exploiting the rest of the world, and other white folks. I think liberation is possible. I draw pictures about that sometimes.

Imperialism?
